Fashion
is not a thing that just started the other day fashion has been there with
humans since the medieval times and it’s still there to this modern age. Indian
fashion has surpassed all the other fashion treads as it has not only stayed on
point but it has not been changed from how it was in the past to the way it is
not it has managed to retain its tradition even though the designs and the
styles have been modernized.
As
it has stayed all the way from the past and now there are so many dresses that
one can choose from if they what to rock Indian attire and with this wide range
it can be difficult to just choose one. Even though most Indian people are
known to have chosen the lahenga choli the second best dress in traditional
wear after sari.
There
have been many Indian brides that have been picking up lehenga’s choli as their
choice of wedding attire as compared to other attires. This is because this
type of dress is easy to wear and it is very easy to curry around when you wear
it and this is the ultimate stress for any Indian woman they never want to wear
a dress that will be difficult to curry around.
Lehenga’s
are the type of sarees that are long sort of ankle length and have sort of a
pleated skirt right at the wrist. The skirt is graceful, elegant and flares
around the wearer. In the past days all these dresses were not as they look
these days they used to be skirt type umbrella shaped. However nowadays the
fashion trends keep changing with ever sun rise and that is why there are many
designs of this dress.
The
many styles of lehenga’s include the Straight cut lehenga’s, Circular
lehenga’s, Mermaid cut lehenga’s, Paneled lehenga’s, Kali ghagras lehenga’s,
Fish tail cut lehenga’s, A-line
lehenga’s, Lehenga’s with full flair and many other that are used to in the
designing the ultimate dress.
Even
though many people have taken up the lehenga’s the people from Rajasthan and
Gujarat have retained their cloth the Ghagra Choli. This is because the dress
was very popular in the ancient times as the women then preferred cotton
fabrics, decked with embroidery and not so much work done on them.
The
blouses have detailed mirror-work and patch-work on them and are very vibrant.
On the other hand the royals of that time preferred the embroidery on the
lehenga’s and mostly has sort of silver embroidery on top of it and sometimes
even a Gold one.
The
normal Ghagra Choli would be on the length of the knee or the ankle but the
ones that were worn by the royals would go even further to the point that they
would even be touching the floor as they walked around. This is not the same as the Ghagra Choli that
were worn by the Gujarat women as they had to work all day they made a point of
wearing the ones with a length that was more reasonable because of mobility.
