Why the link exchange don't work these days anymore

In the recent Google algorithm changes , Google have taken massive changes in .search engine ranking algorithm. Google is  just trying to deliver more and more accurate and perfect result when users are typing a keyword to Google. Google is updating its algorithm much more frequently then its can , to deliver much more accurate results.

Google is more and more moving towards are very genuine  results as well, about a decade back it  thought  the much more back links means much more valuable to Google. Today , they are not valuing the much more back links method. It just want to check the quality of back links in this regard. One of the factor considering the quality of  back links is to check either the back links gained form trusted source or not. Is there any deal or not.That is why link exchange kind of links are not just working , Google started thinking  that  these link exchange links or links achieved form the same niche sites might have some kind of deal( or deal with money , you gave me and I will give you back) is no more good.That is why Google not more giving any value or priority to link exchange kind of links any more.
